ValidLog provides a framework to issue digital credentials such as digital certificates / digital documents and to employ decentralized verification without single points of failure. ValidLog is aimed at developing Interoperable “Self-Sovereign Identity” (SSI) helping people to determine when and how they self- disclose their digital credentials.
ValidLog provides Digital locker services to sign Digital certificates / documents (credentials) using cryptographic signatures and, in addition include a unique cryptographic identifier for the recipient of the credential. These credentials can be presented anywhere to verify credential provenance and ownership. Ownership of and access to these credentials is lifelong and does not depend on any software vendor or issuing institution.
Validlog provides an infrastructure for storing, viewing, sharing, and verifying Digital certificates / documents. Pepole can download digital certificate in their digital wallet and can share their digital certificates / documents with anyone they choose and have these credentials verified instantly. If issuing organizations decide to switch vendors later on, they retain full access to their issued credentials and may store, delete, or share them as they choose (in line with applicable laws and regulations).
Relying parties can easily verify any digital certificate or digital document (credentials) through widely available technology: a web browser or a mobile phone. Verification is instant and independent of any software vendor or issuing institution.
ValidLog provides end to end encryption for Digital locker service, Digital wallet, and Document verification service. Enabling third parties to securely verify recipient’s credentials. They are also tamper evident, with any tampering immediately detected by the Verifier. This facilitates the global mobility of students, workers, and others by removing bottlenecks to the verification of identity and achievements.
